Audra Petway Jones is a watercolor artist who dabbles in other arts such as collage, pen and ink, pencil, and paper crafts. She began watercolor painting while obtaining an art degree in interior design from Harding University when a friend’s beloved dog passed away. She painted his picture as a gift in his memory, and soon others began to request portraits of their furry friends. She always welcomes commission pieces. Nature also inspires her love for design (after all, God is the ultimate designer!), and thankfully color, pattern, and design are everywhere. These elements can be seen in her fun art albums which are made from foam-core and embellished with paper, paint, and other trinkets. Each can be displayed as art alone or pictures and journaling may be added for a unique scrapbook or memory album. Audra also enjoys making tags and embellishments, scrapbooking, and showing her two children the fun of painting and creating.
